When the sitcom Happy Days debuted in 1974, few could have predicted the kind of success the show would have during its 10-year run, which led to numerous spin-offs, including this Saturday morning cartoon. Produced in conjunction with animation juggernaut Hanna-Barbera and narrated by superstar DJ Wolfman Jack, The Fonz and The Happy Days Gang featured voices by some of the actors from the live-action show, including Henry Winkler, Ron Howard and Donny Most. But the program wasn’t just “animated Happy Days.” The show also featured Fonzie’s dog, the Scooby-Doo-ish Mr. Cool, and Cupcake, who pilots a time machine that leads to the gang getting stuck traveling to a variety of different time periods.
