The Ewoks originally aired in a “block” with this series as The Ewoks and Droids Adventure Hour. As advertised, the series followed the adventures of R2-D2 and C-3PO that took place between 2005’s Revenge of the Sith (“Episode III”) and 1977’s Star Wars (aka A New Hope). The series apparently didn’t fare as well as Ewoks — it only lasted a season, with the Ewoks show staying on by itself for an additional year as The All-New Ewoks. The theme song for Droids, “Trouble Again,” sounds a bit like The Police and that’s no coincidence. The band’s drummer, Stewart Copeland, wrote the tune for the ’toon.
