1. Madballs
Take a Nerf-like foam ball and slap a creepy face on it and you’ve got Madballs. Released in 1985 by AmToy, a division of American Greetings, Madballs featured 16 original characters across 2 series with names like Slobulous, Horn Head and Bash Brain. Madballs didn’t have their own TV series like a lot of toys at the time, but they did have two cartoons available on VHS and a comic book mini-series.
